Do all your technicians have formal training?

Yes, all our technicians have a minimum of one year of collegiate studies in the field, and have been hand picked and personally trained by the company's owner.

Will someone come to my place of business/Where do I bring my computers for repair?

Most of our services will be rendered at your place of business.  Sometimes it may be necessary to bring a computer to our shop but we will accommodate your needs.

What is your warranty policy?

Should a problem that we have deemed fixed reappear within 5 working days, we will reassess and repair the recurrent problem free of charge.  Please note that all our technicians are trained to spot any misuse which may be the cause of the recurring problem and will provide you with information to prevent the problem in the future.  Should those instructions be ignored the warranty is nul and void.

Can I hire you without signing up for a service package?

Yes, we would be glad to help you with your all computing needs and have standard rates to accommodate clients who would prefer not sign up for one of our packages.

What if I need a new computer?

Most computers can be fixed.  We will always let you know when replacing a computer would be more economical than fixing it.  When that is the case, we will work with you to ensure that you find the computer you need at the best possible current price within your budget.

What happens if you can't fix my computer?

Our motto is "If we can't fix it, we wont charge".  We have yet to see a computer we can't fix but we also don't believe in charging you for our mistakes.  So if it takes us 3 hours to figure our how to fix a problem we'll only charge you for the time we spent fixing it. We work hard to make sure every problem has a solution even if that means not charging you for that time.

How do I know if I have a virus?

Viruses can be hard to spot because they frequently masquerade themselves as adware.  Either way both viruses and adware will slow down your computer, direct you to places you weren't going, and/or hide files.  The only real way to tell is to call in a computer technician who will scan your computer to see what's going on.

How can I tell if my employees are misusing their work computers?

There is no easy way for an employee to know if work computers are being abused.  The best way is to have your computers regularly maintained and scanned for viruses, adware, and bloatware.  While a technician is maintaining a computer they are likely to come across red flags that may indicate misuse.  The best way to ensure nothing illegal is happening online in your workplace is to have a technician set up safety measures that will deny access to certain types of websites.  But nothing is fool proof.

What do I do if I suspect I've been hacked?

TURN OFF and UNPLUG your computer(s).  The faster you shut down your systems the more mitigated the damage will be.  The only solution to suspected hacking is to call in a technician that you know and trust, who can verify, asses the threat, and mitigate the damages so that you can safely get back up and running.

Our system has crashed and I think files have been lost, how can they be recovered?

Your files may have been saved elsewhere on your computer.  Try doing a file search of your computer with the document name. On the other hand, some problems just need a specialist.  Note that most of the time data can be recovered but not all data can be recovered all the time. Data recovery can be costly and has to be done right the first time. Once data has been threatened there is often a short window of time before it is so badly corrupted that it becomes meaningless.  Call a technician.
